Seafone users experience crystal clear voice services for both inbound and outbound calls via our extensive roaming agreements with the world’s largest Mobile Network Operators. They can place or receive calls and SMS from their own mobile phone just as they would do in any place on Earth.

Seafone cutting edge technology enables the use of smartphones such as Blackberry, iPhone, Android and others. Users are able to download their emails in real time and upload files based on 4G technologies.

Seafone R&D team offers applications such as Telemedicine, e-learning, on or off board generated short messages to stay in touch with passengers or crew memebers, intercative maps of the vessel and an astonishing app to help passengers to locate where they are while on cruise.

Seafone offers dedicated SIM cards with both post and pre-paid accounts. These SIM cards can be used within our network or even on shore and are dedicated to staff and crew usage allowing them to reduce phone costs.

Seafone maritime GSM service switches on and off automatically when the vessel enters either international waters or 2 nautical miles, in compliance with EEC rules and GSMA recommendations.
